Some people love the winter weather, but I can’t say that I’m one of them. The months of cold, damp weather really drag my spirits down. By the end January, I’m already starting to count the days until spring. It’s not just the cold that bothers me, it’s the lack of sunshine. Where I live the sun goes away, and the gray clouds roll in for weeks at a time. I’ve decided the best way for me to handle the long winter is with a vacation somewhere sunny. I’m going to take a trip down to Florida where I can enjoy a nice solid week of sunshine. I’ve been making my plans. I’ve lined up a hotel, and a Fort Lauderdale car rental for the week. I don’t have any major plans for activities. I mainly want to sit outside in the sun while relaxing and reading some good books.
